Benjaminisms...

I wanted to take a minute to once again write down some things that Ben has been learning lately... He learns so much so fast, it's hard to keep track!!

First of all, his vocabulary is growing, and the child knows what he wants! If for some reason I can't understand or decipher the word, I just tell him to go get it and show me and he will.

He calls Santa Claus "HoHo" and he knows all snowmen as Frosty... Last night he saw some wrapping paper with snowmen on it, immediatly started saying "Frosty TV" and running into the living room to tell Papaw that he wanted Frosty on the TV. And of course since my dad will pretty much do anything for those grandsons, Ben and Papaw watched Frosty together. :)

Ben knows when and how to ask questions and usually in the right context. If something disappears he holds his hands up and says "erego" (read: where did it go?) Last night Uncle Bart burped really loudly, Ben got the biggest eyes, looked at me and so sweetly said "Wassat" (read: What was that?) It was so funny! Then Papaw and Uncle Bart took turns burping to get the same response. So grossly funny.

He says "Oh Cool" when something is good.

He says "Mo" instead of "no" which he says a lot. I guess if I have to go thru the independence and over use of the word "no" at least he sounds cute when he says it. :)

Every night when we go to bed, we say his prayers. Every night I hold him and he lays his head on my shoulder while I pray. We pray for different things, but the staples are usually the same. Then I ask if he has anything he wants to add he usually says "Mo" but I give him the chance. Anyway then we say "Amen" and he lays down and goes to bed. It is a precious time with him. I am somewhat stingy with bedtime just because it is probably one of my favorite times with Ben.

He says Peese and CuCu for please and Thank you. He says "more" and usually uses the sign with the word, just for emphasis. :)

He has recently learned that he likes MnM's, When he says Candy it sounds a little like "cocky" but he knows what it means. He says Cookie, Cracker, and Kickle is his word for Popsicle, Pickle, and Broccoli.

His favorite show, and probably his only show is Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. He knows the motions and the songs. He calls Mickey "HotDog" or something like that, because of the Hot Dog song at the end of every episode.

And just a fun picture to close things out. :)

Goofy Kid. :) I Love you!
