I dont know why but there is just something so precious about a baby sleeping.
When Ben sleeps, his little lips tend to pout, he makes sucking sounds, even if he is only sucking on his bottom lip. It's so precious.
He ends up in so many different positions, all over his crib, upside down, just all around. You've heard of sleep walking, I think Ben has started sleep crawling. I don't think there is any other way to explain the adventures he takes all over his crib.
Here are a few pictures of the last few months of sleeping that I just really want to remember. :)
This is what happens when you leave Daddy in charge of getting us up and ready Sunday morning. I left them both awake and with a time line, I came back after getting ready and found them like this...
Our family made a trip to Lake Ouchita for the Savchick family reunion. We spent much of the weekend on an island on the lake. I was worried about the heat and Benjamin's fair skin at first, but he managed to come away unburned, perfectly healthy, and obviously not sleep deprived.
He starts out the evening every night wrapped up in his blanket, he wakes up every morning with it unwrapped, and either completely uncovered, or like most mornings, his feet sticking out the bottom.
Ben falls asleep in the car all the time. We often arrive at a destination to find him taking a short nap in the carseat. I always worry that it will hurt his neck, but no matter how we try, he ends up this way. Hasn't hurt him so far...
Good night all...
