Well we have been here almost a week, and things are going good. :)

We are adjusting to our new normal life, and it's great so far.

A few updates on everyone...

Nathan had his first check up on Friday. He was still 20in long, he weighed 7lbs even. Since he hadn't gained quite back up to his birth weight, he does have another appointment on May 31st to make sure he is gaining weight okay. I'm really not all that worried about it since he is eating just great and really isn't having any problems, I think he just didn't have quite enough time to get back up to weight. He is sleeping well. He has had some off nights, but for the most part he is a great sleeper and eater, and I really can't complain. He is starting to stay awake more during the day, he likes the swing almost as much as Ben did, and he is just wonderful. If you have facebook you probably have already seen these pictures, but they are precious so here they are again. :)







And a small update on the older boy. He is doing just great. He is starting to understand that Nathan is here to stay, and is growing more aware of having him in the house. When Nathan was in the swing today, Ben walked up behind him and started to try and "push" the swing. That was interesting. :)

He is learning new things all the time, and now his new favorite thing to say is "uh-Oh." To the extent that he drops things on purpose just to say "uh-Oh."

This morning I read him the same book about 15 times because he kept wanting me to read and re-read it to him. For a small break I gave him the book and asked him to read it to me, and he seriously flipped every page, making noise and stressing certain sounds, and it made absolutely no sense, but I could tell he was mimicking everything I had done when I read it to him. Won't be long and he will be actually reading me stories...

Here are a few pictures of him lately. He has taken a new interest in the baby swing since we got it out for Nathan. He likes sitting in it now. The other pictre is him sitting in the new double stroller. We took it out for the first time yesterday evening. Ben sits in the front seat, which has a play steering wheel and a cup holder. Very cool. Anyway when we got home, he did NOT want to get out of the seat. So since he wasn't hurting anything we just let him sit there.






And here are a few videos just for fun. One of them is Ben dancing to a song on the TV. Very cute if I do say so myself.

The other video is just a shot of Nathan in the swing and Ben smiling. Nothing to exciting, but thought you might like to see a live shot of the baby. :)
