Ben had his first birthday last Tuesday, January 25th. I cannot believe he is 1!!! It's so weird thinking back over the last year. Our house is definitely different, our schedules are even more weird than ever, and yet I cannot even remember what we used to do before. What a weird and wonderful feeling. :)
Anyway, on to his birthday party and birthday. :)
We had his party the Saturday before. We did it at my mom and dads, and it was a huge ordeal. :) There were about 35 people there, tons of food and fun, and tons of attention for Mr. Ben. He did great, even considering he didn't have much of a nap that day. He just soaked up the attention and all the people, but wow was he exhausted when we left. :)

I made his cake this year. We have always done a tractor/farmer theme for Ben, and he loves tractors, so we kept up the theme. :)
For his own personal cake, I made a number 1 with green icing.
He really enjoyed the icing!

Here is the happy boy!!
He got a John Deere ATV to ride... LOVES IT!! It sings a song, that at this point we ALL have memorized. He plays it over, and over, and over...
He got a red wagon to ride and play in. He likes being pulled around, but given that we are having record breaking lows these last few weeks and blizzard like snow, we haven't really been able to play much outside. :)
And another happy boy with his Baseball. :)
