Confession...

Okay it's confession time. So today, yes today, January 15th, 3 weeks past Christmas I am finally getting all of the Christmas decorations down and back into the attic for another season. Putting away the rest of the presents that we received and moving them out of the entry way which they have been sitting since we returned from our last trip to see family, three weeks ago!!! I am (with the help of one certain and unsuspecting husband) getting the tree put back into the shed, the lights off the house and the candy canes off the sidewalk. Isn't that pathetic!!

I am almost ashamed to admit it, even to myself. I wish I could say that it was because I just love Christmas so much that I just can't bear to see it end, but that sadly is not the case... Truth be told I just haven't had the energy or desire to mess with it. :) But today I am getting it done.

Now that the confession is over, let me also throw in my productive day... :)

While doing the above mentioned putting up of the decorations I have also cleaned up the living room, washed every sheet set in the house, created a makeshift toy box out of a laundry basket (it's amazing how many toys a 1 year old can accumulate)and I have done 6 loads of laundry. It makes me feel better. :)

Not to be a negative nag, but it does make me realize that while I did have quite a productive day, there is still soooooooo much to do.
