Our crib was a gift from my parents for Ben. We found this set and I fell in love with it, and the changing table matches. Hanging on the end is a diaper stacker that Ms. Betty made for us. Ms. Betty was very kind to make us several things for Ben's room, and all of it is wonderful. You can also see the stripes that Tyler painted on the accent wall.
Here is another view of the crib. The blanket hanging on the end of the crib was made by my friend Rose for Ben. One side is Camo and the other is striped with green, cream and brown soft material. It is absolutely precious and she personalized it with a poem on the back. I love it!:)
This rocking chair was also part of the furniture set we were given. We got to pick the fabric, and I think it looks great. The pillow is a match to the blanket, thank you Rose, and the afghan on the back of the chair was hand made by Tyler's Meema specially for Benjamin.
This is a chest of drawers that was part of my bedroom suite when I was in school. It belonged to my great grandmother, and works great for Ben's extra clothes.
We decorated this wall with Ben's name obviously. :) My cousin Rachael gave us these as a shower gift. The tractor on the wall here, and one above the changing table are stick on's that Tyler and I attached to poster board and cut out. Nothing special, but I thought they turned out cute.
This is the changing table that matched the crib. My Grammy and Granddaddy gave us this. You can also see the John Deere Shelf, the tractor stick on, and the cover on the light switch. To say we went a little John Deere crazy might be an understatement! :)
Ben has 3 Teddy bears in his room right now. The first one is Johnny D Bear that was specially made for him by Sandra, my friend from work. She does an incredible job and never makes the same design twice, so it is completely an original made just for him. The second bear is his that his Nana and Poppa D brought him the day he was born. On the feet is says God Bless. The last one was Tyler's bear from when he was born.
And not to forget the cutest thing in the room, a picture of the napping Ben. Luckily he really can sleep through almost any noise, so no big deal that I'm standing there snapping pictures during his nap time. :)
Hope you enjoyed the pics of the nursery... :)
