Happy Easter!!!

Well Benjamin had a great first Easter Sunday. While very tiring, it was a day full of family and fun and most importantly celebrating Christ's Resurrection.

We started the day by going to church with Tyler's family. As we all sat there together, there was a moment in the service that the Worship Leader asked us to think about all God has done for us, and I just stared at Ben and remembering where we were last year at this time and where we are now, it seems like two different lifetimes. How amazing when God blesses us with gifts we don't even know we want or need.

After that church service we went to church with my family. Stewart mentioned during his sermon about dreams and fairy tales children cling to, and how with the resurrection our "dreams can come true." We can see beyond the bad in the world, beyond the sadness of death, and dream of a perfect world in Heaven. What a wonderful thought. :)

After church service number 2, we left and went to Tyler's parents house for lunch with his family. While there we took some pictures of the family and of the kiddos.

Then we went home and we all took a much needed nap!! :)

For dinner we went to my parents house, and my dad grilled hamburgers.

By the end of the evening we were all ready to just collapse, and I'm pretty sure we did. Since Ben only napped for about an hour right after lunch, and a little while in between the two family celebrations, he slept very soundly that night, as did we all... :)

Here are some pictures for you to enjoy! :)

This is Ben's Easter outfit. Sarah and I found it for him and he did just look precious. :)

The Saturday before Easter, I met some friends and their children at the Rodeo Grounds for the Easter Egg Hunt. While he's a little young to be hunting eggs, they did have an Easter Bunny there for pictures, so we put Ben down for a quick shot. I know he won't remember it, but I'll always have the picture. :)

And finally here is a picture of our little family. Ben cooperated just wonderfully for pictures that day let me tell ya! He didn't cry, he didn't whine, but remember that little nap he took right after lunch, that just happened to be the time we were taking pictures... It didn't matter how he was maneuvered, or how they tried to pose him, he would move where ever they placed him and close his eyes.

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday!
